Interesting facts Of Forests and Men

Pine forest

In this short green movie, Yann Arthus-Bertrand captures some interesting facts about the forest. He was appointed by the United Nations to produce the official film for the International Year of Forests. Be amazed by the beauty of these enchanted forests through stunning visuals accompanied with narration by Edward Norton.

Monks vs. Mosquitoes

This film has been shot in the fascinating potters town (Kumbharwada) of Dharavi, Mumbai. Dharavi is the largest slum area in India. It has over a million people living in an area of 0.67 square miles.

Although this is a comedy film about the misadventures of Jholu the ragpicker, the idea is to get people thinking and talking on some important issues.

A Fable from the Himalayas

The film is a magical tale about a young boy who finds the solution to Global Warming from a monk in the mountains.

The film was shot in the remote ice desert region of Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India (Bordering Tibet).The entire cast was from Kaaza, a small town in Spiti Valley. The film was made possible by Spitiecosphere, an NGO based out of Spiti.

The UN environment program picked up this film for their Billion Tree campaign.
